As Ecogen has asked in a comment on a fellow member Venkatesh's post, for everyones' reference, this is a link to a report about Mc Donald's Biodisel initiative in Gulf News- one of the 2 popular local dailies in the Gulf region. This is really a step in the right direction and I hope more such projects come up. This project too should not stay limited to Dubai or Mc Donald's. More restaurants and fast food chains can get involved in this type of generation of fuel from used cooking oil.
