Mexico is one of the most biologically diverse countries in the world, its ecosystems are dominated by landscapes typical of different regions and fused to make Mexico one of the three most biologically diverse countries in the world,. Actually Mexico maintains 10% of the world's diversity, a fascinating fact considering that only has 1% of the land surface of the planet. Of all the terrestrial vertebrates that exist today, the birds are one of the biggest groups that inhabit virtually all ecosystems of our planet, are adapted perfectly to life in the air, water and land as well as rigorous environments such as some deserts and permafrost. This group of organisms is an important resource for social and cultural development of nations.

The ecological services provided as seed dispersers, seeds to be swallowed by birds, these are deposited in places where they can germinate and in other cases the seeds must pass through the stomach of birds to break the outer layer the covers and begin germination.

Despite the environmental services provided by birds, the traffic of species around the world is amazing, just below the drugs and weapons traffic, the wild life traffic it is the most common crime in the world, however, as a environmental actor, my duty is help those birds that have been caged for not ethical and logical reason, so I am working closely with municipal authorities to the arrest of some people who were selling wild birds on public roads because the wildlife traffic is an environmental crime, however, it was not all good, because in my country, Mexico we have the first place in corruption, so the environmental authority responsible (PROFEPA) is an example of this affirmation because this institution is involved in the traffic of species and have ties with very important criminal organizations, the traffickers told me about the authorities like PROFEPA, and they told me that they don't have problems with the institution helped each others, being this a terrible act, the degree to do nothing and let the smugglers go free with the birds themselves, this being terrible for my country, that simply denotes the poverty moral and ethical of the officials who supposedly should take care of the environment besides receiving pay our taxes to work for the nature.

At the time of release the offenders, I talked and convinced them to give us the birds, are a total of 25 birds, all with stereotypes and a high degree of stress, five died unfortunately in the arrest, however the only good thing is that despite the neglect and corruption of government officials in Mexico as PROFEPA , exist people who are changing the world, as a lawyer I will do everything possible for these people to corrupt, ignorant and offenders continue to work in institutions that care for the environment and especially help to make the world more just and in harmony with biodiversity.
