Bikers Celebrate IBD

To celebrate International Biodiversity Day,the Green Planet Bikeshop's cycling team of which I am a member accompanied visitors from other major cities of the Philippines to bike up the different mountains of Laguna province. By doing this, we experienced the beauty of the flora and fauna of the mountains around our area. From May 22-27, 2013 we visited more than three mountains with other biking enthusiasts. Our main !--object--ive was to give the bikers from big cities like Manila an experience of how much better it is to visit the natural forests and land resources up in the mountains that cannot be reached by cars and buses. While doing this, they get to appreciate the beauty of nature without contributing to pollution unlike if they had used cars and buses. In this way they are protecting the environment by not using vehicles that run on fossil fuels.
