GLOBAL WARMING - OIL SPILLS - AQUATIC SPECIES NEED A VOICE

by Simran Vedvyas | 14-01-2012 04:12 recommendations 0

As the effects of global warming worsen in Antarctica (the temperature increase on the Antarctic Peninsula is already greater than anywhere else on the planet), Emperor penguins may evolve a new breeding strategy, and may start breeding on land masses as opposed to on temporary ice shelves.  This is only conjecture, and only time will tell.  In the meantime though, we can each take responsibility for our own impact on the environment, and do everything we can to reduce our individual carbon output.

The main way global warming endangers emperor penguins is by melting the ice on which they breed. If the ice melts and breaks before the chicks are hatched or ready to swim, they will fall into the water and die.

Oil spills are also making the lives of Aquatic Species worse.

I made this Painting to Convey the same Message and It had Won also during the Environmental Painting Competition.

Let's all resolve to do our bit to help the cute Penguins and also other aquatic species ....Don't thinks they cannot speak....We all can be their Voice!
