For people who live in a hot and dry country like me, it is hard to avoid the upcoming steamy air. We would just rush into places with air conditioners as the heat strikes. As we know that by using air conditioning, the carbon emission of greenhouse gases would damage the atmosphere, luckily there are some conventional way to tackle this.
Here are some example of conventional air-conditioners:
1. Solar-powered AC, supplied by a Solar power is a good news for the power grid, it helps reducing energy and is a great idea to use the summer heat effectively.
2. Ice Power, the term of ice power is still rare in our ear and it is still an expensive research of how using ice for power. The source of the power comes from ice, they are making ice during the night, when energy demand is lower and store it up for the daylight.
3. Passive House, is a super-insulated and airtight house in purpose of minimize energy use. It also manages the shades when it's summer, so then no cool air is waste.
4. Geothermal Heat Pumps, Similar to how caves conditioned the temperature, Geothermal Heat Pumps works by using earth's steady temperature to change water temperature. To cool down the room, water is pumped up inside the ground and the soil will absorb the excessive heat like a jacket water. It is a very effective method to use less energy.

Solar power seems more viable than the others.
