If you're yet to watch the viral video( with over 70 million viewers ) of Prince Ea titled ?Dear Future Generations: Sorry?  then I'll rather you do.  As the technical coordinator at Exclusive Leadership Symposium ELS2.0 (a 360 minutes leadership course designed exclusively for young leaders under 35yrs to nourish their mind for greatness) held on Saturday August 15, 2015 at Grand O'tad Hotel in Akure Ondo State to commemorate youth day, I played this video given to me by Mr John Oluwadero, the Executive Coordinator of Better Nigeria Initiative(BNI) and immediate past Commonwealth Students' Organizer (Nigeria) for Commonwealth Students' Association Nigeria and it is quite powerful and inspiring craving the need to mitigate climate change.

Here is the recap of the video which Prince Ea got the inspiration from his visitation to Africa. He started by apologizing to future generations (on behalf of the present generation) for the harm we have caused the earth due to our actions and inactions, the horrific deforestation rate (40 football field per minute), Water pollution, extinction of animals, and most importantly our poor psychological orientation. He further expressed his grief as he attribute the cause of all this to generating income which jeopardise the ability of posterity to live in a healthy environment. Suddenly, he paused and withdrew all his apologies. He did this to delivers an incredibly profound and poignant message: we don?t have to accept this future admitting that correction can be made.

The is aimed to raise awareness about the alarming rates of deforestation and to shed light on the reckless destruction of our environment among the young generation and future leaders. And most importantly, to motivate young people of the world to take immediate action to stop climate change by protecting threatened forests.

This video made a profound impact on the attendees of the event as some of them demanded to get the videos to further propagate the message. You can watch the video by clicking on this link: http://vnd.youtube:eRLJscAlk1M
