Is PEACE, PEACEFUL??

Disagreement, conflict, clash, dispute, discord, battle, war and then destruction, devastation??.wreck, play havoc and cause huge hue and cry. You may wonder that this is my utmost foolishness to use such deleterious words to begin with an essay on Peace. Yes, it may quite be.

Are we talking about the peace which simply means harmony?  Peace has different connotation for different people. Let me cite my own case. After crossing turbulent adolescence, we tend to become more peaceful, sensible and so am I. Is this behavioural change means peace for me.

I am greatly tensed during my exams and restless thereafter..... Ooofff!! Do you think there is any peace? No, there is persistent apprehension of outcome!! Someone excels and someone fails, but displeasure and discontentment prevails for long. Is this peace??  Even in the life of a student peace is quite hard to locate.

When the adults are asked about this, the generic answer given is you are being prepared for the greater examination that is life and hence are made responsible citizens. So, does that mean we are being prepared for more violence in future and are we also made responsible for it?

Then, there is search for a good job and stability in life. This grave question of employment brings a lot of tension, mental agony, violence?. Is peace of mind prevails in adulthood. No example is needed. The best example could be the reader who reads this article.Is his mind at peace?? Doesn?t he wish to complete go through this asap. Is peace prevailing in the articles of peace??

Even in old age, the sweet dream of peace vanishes as we fall into the trap of various diseases and only we rest in peace before attaining the real peace. 

The games which are sensations among the children are always been the War or battle games. Sports have become more violent these days like the game of gentlemen Cricket is more of sledging, soccer more of kicking players then the ball, and as you know rugby is all about violence. Still all these are so popular. Can peace take us forward?? Or can we take peace forward??

How much peaceful is Global peace?  Global warming and climate change have caused grave concern for all organisms on Earth. So, is Nature peaceful?? Can peace lead to development? If all humans are peaceful that means we wouldn?t have the urge to explore and so there would be no more new versions of smartphones. As satisfaction leads to peace!! Then is peace attainable?? Can peace be attained only through revolting guns, precarious bullets and threatening technology? Leading to only and only horrifying blood shed of thousands of innocent peaceful men. Hence, what?s the new 21rst century peace adoring description of Peace??

Peace?peace? Is nothing but you, me, we and they. Respect begets respect. If we respect the very idea of peace, then we should first of all respect our own selves, then you, they and so on.
