                        Sustainable energy for youth

Sustainable energy is energy obtained from non-exhaustible resources. By definition, sustainable energy serves the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs

Here are some methods for sustainable energy:-

1. Solar power

Energy is the ability to do work, and 'solar' is a Latin word for the sun. So, we can define solar energy as energy obtained from the sun. We can put this energy to work for us in many ways, from heating water and living spaces within our homes to generating electrical energy. Solar energy is a type of radiant energy, so named for the vibrating particles 'radiating' from the sun that we talked about earlier. Solar energy is sometimes called solar radiation for this reason.

2. Wind mill

Windmill is a mill that converts the energy of wind into rotational energy by means of vanes called sails or blades. Centuries ago, windmills usually were used to mill grain, pump water, or both. Thus they often were gristmills, wind pumps, or both. The majority of modern windmills take the form of wind turbines used to generate electricity, or wind pumps used to pump water, either for land drainage or to extract groundwater.

3. Hydro electricity

The movement of the water in the river causes massive turbine to turn providing the mechanical movement needed to power the generators producing electricity. Hydro power is a renewable resource and causes virtually no pollution once initially established. There is some disruption of the natural environment however, as the area upstream to the dam is flooded. This flooding causes mercury from decaying plant matter to enter the water and be absorbed by the aquatic animals. Contaminated fish will pass mercury up the food chain to animals and humans. Mercury is a toxic element that can cause birth defects and other health problems. Mercury content in the water, and, as a result, in the fish, decreases over time. The solution to this issue is to refrain from eating fish from that river until mercury levels return to normal. The only lasting negative effect of a hydro installation is that the natural movement of aquatic wildlife is constricted by the dam, which can be a problem to migrating species.

These all are known method of sustainable energy. I have one smart solution for it which is mentioned below-

4. My smart solution

It is possible to harness the power generated by ocean waves

Role of youth for sustainable energy:-

Renewable energy is a means to combine the goals of youth employment (therefore income generation) and environmental protection, thereby contributing to sustainable development. One method to implement this potential link between youth employment and environmental protection is to develop youth-led enterprises to produce and market renewable energy to off-grid consumers. Youth-led renewable energy enterprises are a viable means of achieving sustainable development, as they promote technologies that are less harmful to the global environs (as compared to conventional technologies), while at the same time providing sustainable income-generating opportunities for youth.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Generating energy through the sun is great idea. Generating energy through wind is also a better idea. There must be proper utilization of energy. This is my smart solution to harness the power with the ocean waves which i think a great idea

you are amazing bro ... awesome smart solution 'to harness the power generated by ocean waves' but it isn't possible in Nepal we don't have ocean, we can use hydro powers .
    Thanks for sharing it !
