Algae controls water pollution (running water) and microbes control stored water pollution. Phenols are degraded by the Pseudomonas species. Methanogenic bacteria have been used to degrade waste water from the alcohol fermentation industry. Using immobilized mycella of stemphylium loti, which contains the cyanide hydralase, detoxify the cyanide. A strain of the Pseudomonas putida is used in the degradation of the petroleum and management of oil spills. Psuedomonas putida is also used for the degradation of the herbicides, pesticides, insecticides. Bacteria and fungi are used in decaying organic matter of the soil. Blue green algae like nostoc, Anabaena are often employed in the reclamation of alkaline usaer land. Coriolus versicolor and Pharnerochaete chrysosporium fungi are used to eliminate carcinogenic lignins. Hypomicrobium,Micrococcus denitrificans control the nitrate pollution of the water. All these management practices can be used by the industry and developed country easily who are major source of the polluter in the earth. These practices are the bio technically developed and using by different country too.
