How to be Safe in the Beach

Hi, friends! My name is Vanessa from the Green Team Indonesia. I'm the youngest member of this team, and I'm proud of being the member of the team and I am in grade 3. Today I'm going to show you how to be safe in the beach. Few days ago, my friend Jason got injured because he didn't wear sandals. His foot got cut by a piece of broken glass. How can this be? Yes it, can. I myself usually go to the beach for 'beach-clean-up' action with Surfer Girl. And last time when I went to one of the beaches here, I saw many stuffs especially pieces of broken glass. So, behind that white sandy beach, it hides many things like cigarettes, plastics, straws, pieces of broken glass and many more! I pick them up and put them in a sack. It is dangerous to everyone! And it means that there are still many people who do not respect 'don't litter' thingy. This thing gave me an idea for writing on this great site. Don't throw your bottle glass in the beach : Because it can hurt someone. The pieces of the glass are hidden under the beautiful white sands. Can you imagine if you step on it accidentally like my friend Jason? Wear sandals: So your feet don't get hurt, even by the rocks. It may not feel comfort but it will protect your feet more. Don't be to long under the sun or else you will get sunburn: Just apply sun screen. Put the sunscreen at least one hour before you go under the sun. Bring a mat: So you can lay down if you get tired. You can rent it on the beach but it is better to bring your own to save money. Bring an umbrella : To stick it on the sand like a "roof" so you will not get sunburn. Bring water : So that you drink a lot to avoid dehydration. And that is all the tips how to be safe in the beach. Thank you for reading. Best Regards, Vanessa Monica
