On the world environment day, I vividly remember the celebration of The National Environment Day of the UAE.

?The National Environment Day is a fitting annual event during which both public and private energies are pooled together throughout the year to highlight the desert as a national environmental issue of top priority?

Quoted His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the 3^rd of February as he dreamt of a cleaner & greener UAE on February 4, 2013 on which we happen to commemorate the National Environment Day of UAE.

We celebrated the National Environment Day by saluting it for its success & in hope of a more sustainable UAE with our right arms stretched forward in our weekly assembly as we took the oath. The pledge was as follows:

?We, as Dipsites pledge to take all necessary steps to protect our Mother Earth from degradation and make it a sustainable place. As citizens of India, it is our moral responsibility not only to think of our own country, but the country we live in.?

All of us implemented this thought in our daily lives are ceaselessly working towards an environmentally conscious UAE. It is not limited to a day but more as a way of life for us. Under the Sound leadership of our Principal Ma?am Mrs. Vandana Marwaha DPS Sharjah regularly conducts various programmes of environment awareness such as The Green Flag Initiative, Tree Plantation Campaign, Can Collection Campaign, Green Fingers, we are an Active member of EEG, World Action day are some of them

It was the perfect start for a day that filled our hearts with urge of responsibility and commitment to our mother earth for years to come.
