I plant saplings every year on ?Earth Day?. In all my previous reports on Tree Plantation I used a tag line and again want to write the same that ?Trees are the lungs of Mother Nature?. I feel an individual should plant as many trees as they can in their lifetime and just planting trees is not enough but taking care of them for our future generations to remember us is much more important.

 Human wants and needs have increased to such a great extent that we are using our resources generously as a result the forest cover of the world has reduced drastically. It is necessary for the present generation to plant more and more trees for replenishing the lost resources. Planting tree saplings is one of the best ways to restore the damage caused by our carbon footprint it will go a long way in reducing the global environmental problems being face by us today. People around the world are encouraged to involve in various events of environmental activities on days like Earth Hour and Earth Day to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment.

Tree Plantation events were organized in the UAE at many places to mark the day and were successful in educating children and young adults to preserve and conserve the environment.Initiatives like this encourages participants to live by the principles of protecting the environment and develop a sense of accountability and are encouraged to think about their local community and the positive impact they can have on others if they volunteer their time for the betterment of society.

The campaigns like Plant a Sapling will surely help cities around the world to become sustainable. We all should understand that for the welfare of future generations, it is important that we should be involved in such initiatives and campaigns. These help in reminding us that we all have a role to play to ameliorate the condition of the environment.

So dear friends take a pledge to plant more and more trees, be more responsible and be proud of owning the city and the world you live in, and then tree plantation activity will remain very close to your heart throughout your life.
