The quantum of water on the Earth doesn?t increase, it is only recycled and reused. This effectively means that water levels can never climb higher they can only be judiciously managed. 1) An average 5 minute shower uses 75 litres of water a bucket bath uses 15 litres of water. 2) To garden the green way, ditch the hose and pick up a watering can. 3) Another thing you can do is water plants either in the morning or evening, so minimum water is lost to evaporation. 4) Keep a Rain Reserve – when it rains, put out a large bucket so you can use the rainwater collected for things like watering the plants. |
