'Earth day'never thought it would be one of the day in 365 days which will be celebrated.But we did and all thanks goes to The Eco-minions(TEM) and CARD Nepal who sponsored this program. And this chance of celebrating every small days with such a joy and spirit is only possible in AFU(Agriculture and Forestry University)i guess.

How to celebrate 'Earth Day 2017' this year was decided 4 days ago through the meeting of TEM where the concept of conducting street drama for awareness was choose. I ,Sneha Sapkota,had a golden chance to be the program coordinator and Banita Sharma was given the responsibility of script writer.

FIRST DAY:

The outline of program was decided as:

1.Anchoring-Ashish karki

2.Street dance-Shanti, Sabina, Sandhya, Pratikshya, Sneha

3.Street drama-where the characters were assigned

The rehearsal of dance was started at the very first day.And we met with Nirajan Bhattarai sir,who informed us about the CARD Nepal which sponsored this program.

SECOND AND THIRD DAYS:

The rehearsal of drama and the dance both were completed Roshan dai helped to correct some dialogues and expression in the drama. Sushil dai,Kanti didi,Jyoti didi,Nisha didi,Jayanti didi,Santosh dai and Saroj dai helped us to manage the things required during the drama.

Final day (Earth day)-The most awaited day:

All the preparation of drama and dance were completed till 3:30.Then our venue i.e. Rampur bajar, we reached at 3:45.Our senior Madan dai entertain the mass by singing a song and also Nasib dai kept some of his valuable words to whom we are very thankful.

Then the program started as planned by us.The scripted drama by Banita Sharma was successfully played.The drama has made us aware about the drastic changes on the earth caused by human activities through comparison of 3 earth i.e. past earth-30 yrs ago, present earth,future earth-after 30 yrs.

Lastly, as the coordinator,I want to thank my friends, brothers and sisters who participated to make this program successful.So thanks-
