Promoting Eco-tourism for the all round development of the Rural Community of Developing Country like NEPAL.

"Rainaskot" is a village of Lamjung district of Gandaki Zone; which lies on Western Development Region of Nepal. This village is linked with a temporary road which is just gravelled. We should travel one and half hours from Paudi; a place that lies between the highwa connecting Prithvi Highway and District headquarter of Lamjung.This place is a historical place which is the birth-place of great warrior, Bhakti Thapa; who has contributed on the unification of 22 and 24 states of Nepal.The village is located on the northern slope facing towards Lamjung Himal and other ranges of himalayas. We could enjoy the sunrise and sunset which gives the sensation of real heavens.In most of the places along the way, there are dustbins so that the rubbish, plastics and other wastes could be properly managed. Also, the villages are well circulated with many eco-friendly dustbins which has been a plus point to add the beauty of the village.The village is so organised that the guest are served with own home made foods. The organic vegetables and crops are grown in theirs own field and are promotedwith the help of eco-tourism.They grows caradamoon plants in the sloppy lands so as to generate the income for their livelihood. Also, Cardamom plantation helps to prevent the run off of water which helps to control soil erosion during the rainy seasons.The people of this village have theirs own way to greet guests. They provides garland and tika and lots of blessings at the time of departure. Anyone who visit this place are amazed by these beautiful souls.Every year many internal and external tourist visit this area. This helps to promote the beauty of our nation and also helps to promote the culture, rites, rituals and traditions.
