by | 06-09-2013 00:21 recommendations 0

On Tuesday, we attended the display of the plant for the planet academy in Kuala Lumpur. On our way to bring the effectiveness of raising the awareness level on Climatic Change,we derided to mechanize the Plant For The Planet Academy duly in Malaysia specifically Kuala Lumpur in order to have much more children and the youth to becomes diehards of climate change.
We have been practicing tree planting exercises for more than two years monthly. We would like to create a system whereby we will have some others to also embark on our mission in our absence.Upon an outstanding scrutiny, we discovered the Plant-For The Planet Academy. We will be setting that up soon.

Plant-for-the-Planet is a global movement of children. It was started in 2007 in Germany by 9 year old Felix who had to do a school assignment on climate change. Inspired by the example of Wangari Maathai, he called upon his peers to plant millions of trees to stop climate change. Today, children in more than 90 countries have planted trees for climate justice.

We have Mr Kjell Kuhne, from Plant for the Planet Academy, to share with his experience and how you can join in the movement. Mr Kjell Kuhne will be hosting a training in KL in October, come and find out more.
