Environmental Envoy (BYEE) is the longest running environmental program in the Philippines, organized in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). For eleven years now, BYEE has been engaging young Filipinos to take part in environmental protection.

Early January this year, Bayer Philippines opened the application for the 2011 Bayer Young Environmental Envoys. Many college students applied for the search but after the regional selection only twelve college students from the different places in the Philippines were selected.

Last August 12 to 17, 2011 The 12 Bayer Young Environmental Envoys attended an eco-camp in SEARCA at UP Los Banos, Laguna at the foot of Mount Makiling Forest Reserve. The 2011 BYEE eco-camp highlights the issues related to forest ecosystems with the theme "Filipino Youth and Their Forests: A Generation's Call for Protection and Conservation." The eco-camp includes lectures and outdoor activities that provided the Envoys hands-on experiences and time to reflect on their role toward the protection and care for the Philippine environment.
