Trying to play my part

Plastic bottles are one of the common participant in plastic pollution. I also belong to them who uses plastic bottles so I tried to reduce my plastic bottle purchase to the limit I can but still whenever someone from my family travels they buy these bottles and cold drinks bottles are so common and almost unavoidable ones left for disposal so often and eventually end up as a waste to be thrown in the garbage. One day looking at the plastic bottles the so called disposable ones which were set aside in a corner of my house to be thrown the next day I was thinking of what can I do of them? what can I make from these bottles? how can I reuse or recycle them? I am a nature lover and loves gardening and one idea stroke my mind. I decided to plant saplings on these bottles. I took one bottle and cut it in the between through a pair of scissors. I took the upper part upside down and filled that with some soil then I made few holes on the now top and fixed a rope so that they can be hung on my wall. Gradually my plants were growing and I love to see them to grow and I can feel the freshness while seeing them. I filled the bottom part of the second piece of the bottle and planted a sapling on it as well. I also turned out empty fevicol glue container, a little damaged coffee mug, a no more useful kitchen container and some other stuffs as flowering pots.
