A Nepali saying for depicting organic or compost manures as Black Gold ( Kalo Soon).

Me as an agriculture student who also got an ample opportunity to be a member of ASLF , one of the organization in our college, working on  awaring andand encouraging young as well as local people about environment protection and it's sustainable management.

Yesterday, we conducted a program about using home produced waste products to prepare compost manure on own. Rather than going far we initiated activity from 10- minutes nearby locality from college. Where about 45 people were present, with most if the seats occupied by household wives of the locality and active male of locality and active young blood of the locality. 

We did presentation for half an hour giving information about how many wastes are produced on daily basis in our home and from neighborhood too. And wasting of these food is not only economic loss but also toil loss of those all - who worked their nights off to supply us with those foods.

So instead of wasting of it, we can produce Compost manure which is organic too and far better from the Chemical Fertilizers that we are using on tons of amount. We explained them about it's preapaprepa procedure also about what kinds of stuffs to put on and what not to. Also about the place where they can produce.It was a great experience for me because it was our first program after I became the member of it and became part of new tenure formed. Even the responses and interactions of people was so positive that they even asked us to bring more of such activities and programs that provides them knowledge too.
