Eutrophication- Ground or a river?

by Shreya Aryal | 17-05-2019 13:34 recommendations 0

I can't stop sharing this to tunza. This  is the scenario  of "Dande -River" Paklihawa. It seems to be like a ground but its a river full of weeds and aquatic plants. This happened because of eutrophication which occurs when a water body is enriched with mineral nutrients that supports in growth of aquatic plants all over the water surface causing the depletion of oxygen.Consequently, it cause a huge loss of aquatic lives.
Eutrophication
Nowadays, people while cultivating  crops make the haphazard use of  fertilizers and nutrients required for plants. Those nutrients and minerals ultimately reach to water sources resulting it to be polluted and favouravle for growth of weeds. These weeds not only affect the water sources but  also cause the  loss of the lives of aquatic  animals. This cretes the water pollution which has direct effect on aquatic creatures and human beings too. We should control this by limitimg the use of inorganic fertilizers, detergents and should strictly prohibit the mixing of sewages in water resources.
To make the  environment green and to save the habitat of  living organisms is our duty.Lets put a little effort on not destroying the beautiful creation of god "Our nature" and the natural resources.
