Nepal is one of the agriculture dependent country where most of the people depends on monsoon for their better productivity and great yield.Due to unavailability of monsoon at the right time farmers were unable to sow, transplant and harvest the crops.Others many climatic impacts  includes agriculture, hydroelectricity, food security, tourism and many others.
But since 1 week,Nepal has been suffering from heavy rainfall which results in deteriorating lifestyle, vegetation, agricultural products and wildlife.Flood and landslide have been the major  problem in Nepal due to high intensity of rainfall.According to The Kathmandu Post,at least 21 people have been killed, eight have been missing and over 3000 people have been relocated from the flood-affected area due to flood and landslide followed by the heavy rainfall in various districts of Nepal.Major nine highways have been blocked by the flood and landslide.
The Koshi Barrage which is located in Sunsari is a sluice across the Koshi river. The Barrage is near the international border with India. All 56 gates were opened by the government of Nepal when the water current and level rose to alarming proportion.Government is also trying to provide dry foods, rice, noodles and biscuits to rescue the victims. These contribution done by the government has been highly appreciated.
