Smartphones & Ecosystem

Everyone loves to hang on smartphones everyday. Most of the time we hear that even small children are using it very eagerly. Smartphones are creating impact on these small mind. We, youth, have same problem too. But would you believe if I say smartphones are hampering our ecosystem. Yes, of course! Though being useful in day to day life, smartphones are harmful to our ecosystem.
Earth comprises of about 7.7 bilion people, out of which around 4 bilions are mobile users. Think of radiation emitted by them. When we call or message someone, it leads to the formation of radio frequency which is a cause of bio-life degradation on Earth. Radiations have direct effect on world's bird polulation. I have experienced the decrease in number of sparrow from my childhood. Besides it, raditions cause negetive impact on behaviours and sense of animals, insects and birds. Radiations affect bird in migration where they lose their path and also affect gonads. Even radiation can cause them unable to fly. Sometimes it cause effect on gene causing genotoxic effect and mutation. Bird population surely affects world's insect population.
Somewhere I have read that users discard cell phones after an average of just 18 months in U.S. What if we throw it recklessly in Earth surface?  Most of electronic devices composed of poisionous elements like cadmium, lead and mercury. These are the principal elements causing bios damage on Earth. Even small amount of these elements are injurious and toxic to the bios. It may pollute soil and water resources very badly cauing health hazard on water organisms. Presence of these sunstance in soil leads to poor germination and plant growth.
So, we have to be very careful regarding the use of smartphones. To decrease radiation, we must use smartphones smartly. We have to reduce the use of these devices. I can surely imagine that it is going to be tough for us. But, what can we do if  it is the matter of our beloved mother Earth. Must of electonic devices company nowadays gives the mark of 'Don't throw in trash'. We must follow it because these items can be recyled and reused.

Smartphones are dangerous to Earth's ecosystem.

I really liked the part about birds' migration being affected. It is because the radiation messes with the geomagnetic lines and hence consufe the migrating birds. Fascinating.

    Hello Bishnu Adhikari!!!
Thank you for such an wonderful piece of writing.
Despite the many uses of smartphone ,it is harmful to the ecosystem.
The radiations emitted by the smartphone has caused considerable decrease in the populations of the bird as well as it affects the behavior and sense of birds ,insects.
It has also caused mutation in the birds.

Lets replace the use of smartphones with ecofriendly devices.

    Well written report.
    Keep writing and shining.
    Keep inspiring.

    Warm regards,
