In India ,we worship idol of god. we make idol of durga puja,saraswati puja ,ganesh puja ,lami puja.we worship many idol of god.we make idol of these god ,after some days we immersion in river ,pond ,sea etc.when we making idol then use many hazardous paint colour .when we immerse idol in water then these paint,colour mixed with water.then water is polluted,their contamination level is also high.their very badly effect on aquatic life.and also on human life
