The term ‘Environmental health’ is comprised of two words: Environment and Health. Thus, in simple words, Environmental health is the condition of existing environment. However, this is a broad spectrum term to understand.
Environmental health addresses all the physical, chemical, and biological factors external to a person, and all the related factors which impact on behaviours. It encompasses the assessment and control of those environmental factors that can potentially affect health. It targets towards preventing disease and creating health-supportive environments. So, how can environmental health be well maintained and managed?
So, what happens when environmental health is optimally managed and maintained?
