We, the people of this planet are directly or indirectly depends on solar energy. The term the solar energy means the energy produced by using sunlight. The solar energy is converted to other different kind of energy. It can be converted into electrical energy or heat for the obtaining benefits of human beings. Nowadays the use of Solar Energy is rapidly increasing and people here in Nepal are also aware about the utilization of solar energy. A large amount of energy is consumed in Nepal. We always have to face shortage of energy; solar energy can be used as a replacer for this. Solar panels are use in remote areas where there is no electricity and government of Nepal had given aid by reducing the cost of solar panels for encouraging people. There are various advantages of solar energy This is an everlasting resource . It can reduce the uses of non-renewable resources. Solar energy is also good for the environment. During the use of solar energy, harmful gases don’t release in the environment. Again a huge amount of energy can be produced as solar energy. So it can fulfill the requirement of energy in the world. Application of Solar Energy Today, solar energy can be used in various ways. Below are some of the well-known applications of Solar Energy a. Solar Water Heating b. Solar Heating of Buildings c. Solar pumping d.
