Today while watering plants in my garden I observed bryophyllum there and my mom told to me that she had planted it as it was really beneficial to cure her digestive problems.After knowing that I was curious to know more about the benefits of bryophyllum and today I am going to share you some medicinal benefits of bryophyllum.

Bryophyllum plant is a group of plant species of the family crassulaceae that is usually included as a section within the genus kalanchoe but has also been considered to be a separate genus .There are about forty species of bryophyllum.

Bryophyllum plant parts are thick and fleshy which tends to preserve water in dry climates or soil conditions.Bryophyllum is good for high blood pressure,headache,swellings.Tea made from stem and leaves is used for menstrual cramps, asthma and helps with sinus issues .It is also consumed to clean the bladder and get rid of harmful toxins from the intestine.It is also used to treat kidney stones.It is also useful for digestive problems such as gastritis.The plant has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal,detoxing, immune boosting,anticancer and antipain properties.
