Lost Humanity

Humans , what does this word signifies to us? Humans are better than animals in every way either it is way of living , eating and especially the way of thinking.It is said that humans know better how to react to any situation than a animal. Humans are known for their humanity. But nowadays every day we get to hear various news which just hit our mind and make us feel very bad about being humans. Everyday we hear cases of rape, murder , violation , humiliation and more than that even animals are not safe and the cause of all these are humans. We all are used to with these types of news but yesterday's news about a pregnant elephant just took me into another zone of thoughts. A person gave that pregnant lelephant a pineapple stuffed with crackers and it started exploding in her mouth breaking the jaw and after few hours she died with her baby. After hearing this news I went in a different zone and thought that human beings are the most dangerous part of the planet .They are dangerous for other humans including animal, birds and nature too. Is lost Humanity is the reason for various problems faced by the world in current situation? My motive is not to make all of you sad by sharing the news it's just that it was all in my mind and I shared it here. This is one example but there are other various cases which are unknown to us are we are helpless as we cannot do anything for this.
