Hi, I hope that you all are enjoying well & sound health in this pandemic. First of all Thanks to Tunza Eco-generation for its effort & for giving me membership of this organization.
Secondly, prayers for those who are suffering in Corona. May they get relief very soon.
I've read many articles on different countries' issues. One of them is very tearful & that is of Maldives. And I am going to share this issue with you. I know most of you have heard about this issue. But I also want to share it on this report specially for those who don't know about it. Maldives: The Maldives is a republic lies south-west of the Indian sub-continent. It is made up of a chain of nearly 1,200 islands, most of them uninhabited.  Now come to the main topic.Basically Maldives is famous because of its beauty and is cause of attraction for tourists. Every year many tourists visit this small & beautiful country. It is also famous for its wonderful location, Republic of Maldives, is a small island nation in South Asia, located in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean. It lies southwest of Sri Lanka and India, about 1,000 kilometres (620 mi) from the Asian continent. Its all about Maldives & I know that you are thinking that Maldives is a beautiful country & and it attracts tourists. Then, WHAT THE ACTUAL PROBLEM IS ? You will be shocked to hear that its location is its problem. Yes its location is its problem. At this the most important question is: Why? The reason is very terrible & that is: CLIMATE CHANGE Yes, climate change is the reason of all the issue that Maldives will face & that is: The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's 2007 report predicted the upper limit of the sea level rises will be 59 centimetres (23 in) by 2100, which means that most of the republic's 200 inhabited islands may need to be abandoned. According to researchers from the University of Southampton, the Maldives are the third most endangered island nation due to flooding from climate change as a percentage of population. Hello Juvairiyah,
You've written about a serious issue. It will be a great pain to lose a whole country because of its location and climate change consequences. We must be aware to reduce our global footprint and reduce human driven climate change.
