Monthly Event August 2020 Andrew Simms of UK think tank New Economics Foundation originally developed the concept of Earth Overshoot Day. In 2020, Earth Overshoot Day lands on August 22 and Earth Overshoot Day 2019 was in July 29th. If you like to know further about How the Date of Earth Overshoot Day 2020 Was Calculated, please visit: https://www.overshootday.org/2020-calculation/. Earth Overshoot Day is calculated by Global Footprint Network and is a campaign supported by dozens of other nonprofit organizations. Here is Monthly event report for August 2020. 1. Taking Quiz: As instruction by notice for August I tool a quiz at http://www.footprintcalculator.org/. Below I have attached some screen shots of quiz. If everybody lived like me we would require 2.3 earths. And my personal earth overshoot day was 07 June. 2. Selfie with #MoveTheDate I took a photo with this hashtag in my hand palm. As per instructed here are few lines: I am Alok Dhakal. I will be 50 in 2050. I want food waste to be part of past. |
