Our home is important to us. It is where we eat and sleep. We spend a majority of family time at home, and it is where we go at the end of a long day at work, so we can relax and unwind. Therefore, it is also important to keep our home livable, meaning we would benefit from setting it up to be friendly to the environment. There are quite a few ways to do this, and it is a very easy process. Here is a short list of ways that we can make our home healthy and eco friendly. 1. Less Plastic Bags One common way that we can help keep an eco friendly environment around our house is to take our own cloth bags with us when we shop. Most of the time, plastic bags are automatically given to us when we check out at a grocery store. Plastic bags are known to be harmful to the environment because while it seems they are biodegradable, what really happens is that they don't dissolve, they just break apart and spread everywhere, making it easier for the air we breathe to become toxic for us and the animals around. 2. Plants Believe it or not, having a flower bed or a few houseplants can be good for the economy and our surrounding environment. With the right selection of flowers planted outside the house, we are helping the bees collect their pollen to make their honey. Also, there are many little birds and critters of all kinds that benefit from our flowers. For example, they can produce food sources for some bugs and birds. 3. Nature Inspired Furniture The furniture we use also plays a part in our economy's well-being. This is why it helps to save the little pieces of nature that break down, so we can use them to make things like eco friendly tables, chairs, even baskets and chests. Four Hands is an eco friendly furniture establishment that always makes a good example of the materials Mother Nature provides. These are just a few of the ways that we can help keep our homes eco friendly and healthy. There are many other ways, which you can find if you research. The steps are very easy to take, so please lets take a few minutes out of our day to help keep our environment safe for us and those around us. |

Hello Paisley!
Thank your for your wonderful report.
I would love to see your participation in below program:
Tunza Eco- generation Regional Ambassador to Asia is back to hear your concept of Zero Waste lifestyle and share it with others so that they can apply it in their daily life.
A small act of change can be the way to a big revolution. So, we would like you to share one or multiple zero-waste lifestyles. We hope to reach it to as many people as we can.
A small act of zero waste can be the use of a reusable water bottle and refilling it. This kind of small act can save thousands of plastic bottles from being thrown away resulting in pollution.
Another example of zero waste can be the well-draining of excess kitchen water to the kitchen garden field. We would like to ask you to share one or multiple zero waste lifestyle and with some photos
Individual can send photos separately, it will be compiled by the organizing team to Meena.eco25@gmail.com; tunzaeconepal@gmail.com
All the participants of the campaign will be awarded with digital certificate.
For any query: mail us at tunzaeconepal@gmail.com or contact Regional ambassador for Asia: Meena Pandey: Meena.eco25@gmail.com who is the campaign organiser.
Let your zero waste lifestyle be adopted by others too.
Thank you
