How coal are formed

by pallavi singh | 01-10-2021 18:40 recommendations 0

Today we are going to talk about how coal is formed? Coal is formed from dead fauna/flora. When fauna/flora die, over time, sand and dirt cover the fauna/flora. Then they decompose and turn into a substance called peat. Then this peat will take millions of years to turn into the coal everyone is looking for today. Oil formation has a complete different process! The dead animals slowly decompose and turn into a liquid. The liquid is then turned into oil after millions of years. Burning oil and coal releases so much CO2 which is bad for the environment!! This contributes to greenhouse gases and makes our earth warmer and hotter! So it¡¯s time to stop coal and use alternative sources like electricity, solar power, geo thermal power plants etc. Please do make our earth 🌎 a better place to live for our future generations to come!!!
