Mindanao Philippines needs help. Let us help Cagayan De Oro and Iligan City. December 16, 2011, many folks were just sleeping in their house while raining so hard. Many never thought that this heavy rain was already a typhoon and brought big disaster in Mindanao (Southern part of the Philippines) especially in Cagayan De Oro and Iligan City. Many people died due to flood and many lost their homes. Today I've read a message from one of my co-changemakers, Colleen Torres a resident in Cagayan De Oro and this is what she've posted in GYS 2011 fb page: "Changemakers, our city was hit by the tropical storm "Sendong" (international name: Washi) last Friday. For only one night, our city got flooded horribly and an estimated 60 people were reported dead as of yesterday. Thousands more people still don't have a home. I volunteered yesterday in Sagip Kapamilya, Inc., the official foundation from a major broadcasting network in the Philippines.
