I believe poem can be one of the tool for highlighting how environment has suffered because of us. I've written here one.
From my birth to death, it's from you I snatch But you never chase me, neither do you catch You've let me grow, you let me to live But I've left you hollow, I've left you to strive. Smoke from chimneys, chemicals on soil Must have left you exhausted, must have left you to boil Fatigued air in lungs and weary water in pot I've now realized, it matters a lot. From my part, I now swear I won't leave you exhausted, I won't leave you bare I'll try best not to let sewage in water's flow Now it's my turn to let you live, it's my turn to let you grow. |
