It seems that climate change is a hot topic these days. We should be more concerned with the climate change! Our future is at stake and I want to help stop any further damages. So I thought, what do I need to do? What else can others do? What needs to be done? People can become more environmentally conscious, but how far will that go if people truly do not believe in it and the unthinkable consequences from it?

These questions make me think on how we can persuade people to become more environmentally conscious. If we are able to educate and influence people and show them that being ?greener? is ultimately a better solution, the better off our world will be. Thoughts are contagious, so why can?t going green be contagious? We need to work to change people's mindsets. We need to encourage them to spend a little extra money on being environmentally friendly and spend a lot less on things that are environmentally harmful. Often, businesses resist changing over to an environmentally friendly business because it will cost them money when it will really save them money over time.

A good way to begin influencing and persuading others to becoming greener would be to tell them that the climate change does not just affect us. I am lucky that I have a family, friends, and a house. There are people affected by the climate change that do not have any of those things. The hotter earth's temperatures get, the more natural disasters happen especially to poor people in developing countries who do not have the means and resources to protect themselves from the natural disasters caused by the ongoing climate change.
