The Zayed Future Energy Prize celebrates achievements that reflect impact, innovation, long-term vision and leadership in renewable energy and sustainability. It was a vision of Sheikh Zayed, founder of UAE. This year the Zayed Future Energy Prize was given to nine winners for their outstanding achievements and excellence in advancing renewable energy and sustainability worldwide. Candidates can either apply for the Large Corporation, SME,NGO or Global High School category, or nominate a candidate for the Lifetime Achievement Award. This is the prize money for different categories:
