Hi everyone, today I am going to share you one interesting conservative incident happened in my locality. About 38 days ago, a snake was seen in the nearby of Mr. Gaire home. As soon as the snake has found people try to kill it but the mother of Mr. gaire wanted to keep that snake because that snake stay continuously for a week in the near by bush, she used to pray the snake as god. Then after people gather there in oder to get the view of the snake.
After 15 days, me and my friend Sunil who is snake rescurer went to that particular place and identified the snake which is commonly called as water snake or Checkered keelback. (Xenochorphis piscator). As the conservationalist, we have to protect the snake so Mr Sunil told them that every snake is god so we all should worship them. In that particular day we worship the snake just like others and put one statue of Shiva Linga in that nearby bush.
Its about more than one month lots of people came here and worship their holy god and some came here to watch the snake live. Nowadays, small shops and temporary hotels have been built nearby and also there is the huge scope of eco tourism as well. Local people are now willing to built a holy temple named as Shiva Dham on that particular place.
I think you all become surprise to see worshiping the snake, but one thing I like the most is that if people believe that every snake is god then they won?t kill them in future. This will help in the conservation of snake. As the ecology point of view snake helps a lot in sustainably built of the ecosystem also nowadays anti venom drugs has been made by the help of snake venom. Rat which is a headache to us has been feed by it too. Killing snake is not a solution but preserving it as above make a great difference for its conservation.
