Air pollution refers to the release of pollutants into the air that are detrimental to human health and the planet as a whole. Most air pollution comes from energy use and production. Burning fossil fuels releases gases and chemicals into the air and in an especially destructive feedback loop air pollution not only contributes to climate change but is also exacerbated by it. While climate change is a global process, it has very local impacts that can profoundly affect communities, not the least of which is air pollution increasing temperature are directly linked to poor air quality which in turn, can affect the heart and exacerbated cardiovascular disease. The identified six major types of air pollutants deemed especially harmful to human health. These are carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, ozone, particulater matter and lead. Short term air pollution can aggravate the medical conditions of individuals with asthma and emphysema. Long term health effects can include chronic respiratory diseases, lung cancer, heart dieaese and even damage to the brain nerves, liver or kidney. The most basic solution for sir pollution is to move away from fossils fuels, relaxing them with alternative energies like solar, wind and geothermal, producing clean energy is crucial. But equally important is to reduce our consumption of energy by adopting responsible habits and using more efficient devices. Reduction of air pollution level will decrease the global burden of disease from these illness.pollution prevention requires policies on air quality and transport, air pollution control regulations in cities, emission controls in industry and promotion of clean, renewable energy sources. |

Hi Abdul,
Thank you for your report. Human cannot live without the air and this is why air quality is so important to us. As air pollution may potentially cause many diseases in human body, it is crucial to control the air pollutants and warn people when the pollution is too severe. I enjoyed reading your report.

Hey Abdul!
Thank you so much for your article pertaining on Air pollution. Nowadays, it is definite that climate change ags a massive effect on the quality of air we have due to global change.
But with effects made globally to combat the problem. I truely believe that change will come, no matter how gradual.
Thank you once again for the read! Keep up the awesome work!
With gratitude

Hello Abdul Qoyyum Oriola
Thank you for sharing your report on the impact of air pollution on human health and how we can handle it. As you have pointed out, exposure to air pollutants can be very harmful to human body and cause a wide range of diseases. In order to reduce air pollutants, we must reduce the energy consumption first and try to use alternative energy. Keep up the good work! : )
