As I stated in my earlier report about Lamjung Model United Nations 2019 where I worked as Secretary General of the event along with Regional Ambassador to Tunza EcoGeneration and utilized the event as a platform for the promotion of Tunza EcoGeneration. As it was youth event, with the aim to aware youths about the platform of Tunza EcoGeneration and aware them environmentally, Tunza Souvenir were provided to the participants. The Tunza Pencils, Pen, Sticky Notepad, Rural and Leaflet were provided to the participants along with the stationary for the event. Did you want to know what really happened during the conference. You can check my blog https://kushalnaharki.wordpress.com/2019/06/27/lamjung-mun-2019/ where I have presented the newsletter of the conference which gives you the ideas about what actually happened during the conference. How Model United Nations are related to Environment?? Model United Nations (MUN) is a replication of the United Nations Conference. It is a collaborative platform, which opens an intellectual space for youth to debate and discuss on eminent global issues. The youths and children become the delegates of their assigned country and research on the given topic and present the views representing their assigned country. The delegates participating in the conference come together with the vision of contributing to the resolution of different issues through dialogue, debate and discussions. There will also be a committee United Nation Environment Program(UNEP) where the global environmental issues will be discussed and the participants will discuss, share their ideas, negotiate and come to final conclusion called Draft Resolution which will consist of the previous laws and agreement of the topic and possible solutions of the global issues which can will voted by the majority to be enacted upon. The Global Environmental Agenda are discussed in the model united nation and final draft resolution is presented with the majority which consists of the solutions to the problems. All the delegate of the MUN must do proper research on the environment policy and laws of the nation which makes them more concerned and awared about the global environment situation. It enhances the creativity, skills and knowledge which enables them to more active and enthusiastic environmentally. Green Cheers everyone !!!! Lets all work together to motivate youths and children towards environment to create a sustainable environment for all of us. |

Hello Kushal
Thank you for sharing your valuable experience of working as secretary general of Model United nations. As great focus is being pointed at youth as agents of change to sustain the environment, model united nations is vey meaningful in that this can provide an opportunity for youths to discuss global environmental issues. Keep up the good work! I look forward to reading more reports form you.

Hi Kushal,
Thank you for this report and I hope you had a great time in MUN. I used to participate in MUN when I was in the high school and your report reminded me of these great memories. I hope you learned a lot from the conference :)

Hey there Kushal!
I hope you are well this evening. I knew that the MUN was and how it benefited the parties involved, but I was unaware of the technicalities behind the process of holding a MUN.
Thank you so much for explaing that logic in a concise, yet understandable manner! And thank you for raising the Tunza Eco-Generation flag up high with you ambassadorial work Kushal. It has not gone unnoticed.
Once more, I would like to thank you for reporting! I hope you have a good evening.
With gratitude,
Rosa.
