Drawing Contest on Environmental Sanitation |

Environmental sanitation drawing competition was launched to evaluate the four workshop organized by IDEAS – UCC on environmental sanitation with support from Tunza Eco-Generation in the form of souvenirs. The competition was launched on Tuesday 17th may 2016 by IDEAS – UCC team. The participating schools were Imam Khomeini Primary School and Samrose Complex Academy, both in Amamoma community within the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in the Central Region of Ghana.

@Heonjun, this was the climax of all the Environmental Sanitation workshop we held in Cape Coast. It was really fun and inspiring.

I guess this is a series from the last ones? I hope this was a fun event for the kids and that they spent the day meaningfully rigorously thinking about the issues the citizens around the world face together! thanks for writing!

Yes. I wil follow up with other activities which will maximize the impact of the contest. Isaac is aspiring to be an ambassador, so that will help us extend our activities. 👍👍

Joshua, this was an excellent way to incorporate environmental sanitation into the minds of the young! Im sure it also allowed them to expand their creativity and be more aware of the environment around them. Thanks for sharing!

This confirms why the UN is very passionate about women/ladies both young and old when you look at their 4th, 5th and 10th sustainable development goal. In short the ladies did well.

I am sure this contest must have challenged and inspired their young minds to use their pen/pencils to draw on environmental sanitation theme. This is a great way to spread awareness as well. Good job done. Thanks for sharing.

The competition is so innovative, and you definitely had a lot of students express their creativity through their own hobbies which is great. Their smiles are so heartwarming as well. I would like to know more on the workshop process you mentioned in your report since that seemed equally as influential to them. Thanks for the report!
