On 23rd of November, 2013, I, along with my team, hosted a seminar on 'Food for Life' in partnership with Tarumitra Ashram, Patna. The venue for the event was the Chardin Hall inside the Tarumitra Campus which hosted an audience of 120 school students. The seminar also got featured in The Times of India and Hindustan News. The chief-speakers were Father Robert Athickal, the founder of Tarumitra, and Mr. Binod Singh, the convener of Students' Oxygen Movement, Patna. The speakers talked about the ill-effects of junk food on our bodies and lifestyle. They also talked about how we can help conserve the environment by following vegetarian and healthy food habits. The seminar was a success and aimed to inculcate good lifestyle practices in our future generations. There will be more and more interactive sessions coming up. I have a plan chalked out for each and every such interactive seminar or conference. :-)

I like the caption "Food for life". Indeed junk food does no good , rather builds up unnecessary fat , adds to calories without much nutrition.

Thanks for the great reminder that junk food is bad for our bodies and environment. Thanks for reminding us that good food - such vegetables - are good for our personal health and environmental health. We all need to be reminded often. Good for our body. Good for our earth. Let's eat healthy.
