In September 2019 at the United Nations Climate Action Summit, Greta Thunberg made headlines by condemning world leaders for abandoning today¡¯s children to the ravages of climate change. ¡°How dare you?¡± she asked, her voice shaking with anger. Truth-to-power moments like this alternate with quiet ones in ¡°I Am Greta,¡± a documentary about Thunberg¡¯s meteoric rise that suggests a new kind of hero. Its director, Nathan Grossman, catches Thunberg early, in August 2018, when the teen (at age 15) begins a solo ¡°school strike¡± in front of the Swedish parliament. Her blunt warnings about the environment catch on, and go global. ¡°I Am Greta¡± joins her on the ensuing daisy chain of press gaggles, youth marches, United Nations speeches and meet-and-greets with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emmanuel Macron and the Pope. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/12/movies/i-am-greta-review.html?auth=link-dismiss-google1tap |

Hello Bethlehem!
It's your SJ mentor.
Warm greetings from Korea!
Thank you for introducing a documentary about Greta Thunberg's actions and her will.
Her behavior has also sparked great interest in Korea, and she has become an icon for young environmental activists.
Despite our young age, I think there is a lot to learn from her, such as actively speaking out for the environment and our future.
I wonder what you think of her.
Keep sharing!
Best regards,
SJ mentor.

Hello Bethlehem,
this is your mentor WooJoo.
Warm greetings from South Korea!
Thank you for sharing such an interesting report.
Greta is one of the most famous youth eco-activists nowadays,
and her speeches really impressed me.
It would be nice if you can write more about your personal opinions after watching the documentary, rather than just listing some information.
Keep sharing
Regards,
WooJoo
