Today I visited bank to deposit some amount and I saw a pamplet about Green Saving Deposit. Being an environment enthusiast, I tried to enquire about it and thought of sharingit with you.I asked about it with the members of the bank to find the details on it and they said it is the new feature of the bank playing the role for environment conservation. Nepal Bank Limited is the pioneer bank in Nepal with customer service excellence. Green Saving Deposit provides the features of free service charge of Visa Debit, insurance upto 50 lakh, 6.5% yearly interest, medical service upto 50 thousand. The amount deosited through this saving will be invested in the environment setor.I think this is a very nobel and great initiative of the bank towards sustainable environment

Such an interesting movement here!! I was really amazed by the idea of it. I don't know if any similar project is going on in my country Korea but I should really look for it!
Meanwhile, it's been quite a while since the investment industry started caring for the environmental issues with the introduction of ESG as one of the major factors determining the profitability. You should search for it. I am sure you will find it interesting.

What a nice combination between the bank and the effort to save the environment!
Since most people tend to care about money more than the environment, this kind of financial services make people aware of the environmental issues, and lead to some effort on daily basis. I will look for the events like this on the banks in my place.
