MAM IS AN ECONOMIC BEAST! |

Dear ambassador i recemtly visited a forest santuary in Eyomumjock village in the Southwest Region of Cameroon.while at this Forest i reflected 15years back when i visited this forost which provoke me to title my article "man is an economic beast"
Dear friends 15yrs back when i visited this forest it was ,original,intact and human activities had only litle impact on it.It was rich in biological diversity of all variety of both plants and animals flourishing. When i lastly visity this forest i was shock of changes in the shape of the landsape of this forest village.Many hacters of this forest had been destroyed and cleared down by local people and logging companies to create agricultural land,to provide wood for building & manufacturing industries & constrution of roads.All this interfence in this natural forest has transform the landscape and brough about negative environtal consequences to mankind such as land degradation,biodiversity loss and climate change at alarming rates forcing me to say "Man..." |

Azieh, this is very disturbing & must be controlled by us. We are the main destroyers of ecological system.

The deforestation is a burning issue & is a root cause of landslides & nature's fury.

You are absolutely correct-man is indeed an economic beast. The biggest enemy of earth is mankind who has destroyed the planet -it's flora , fauna ,natural resources and the entire ecological balance.
