Warmer, Drier, Wetter and Winder: What's the result of the greenhouse effect ? |

This is very much like returning to a car parked on a hot day with the windows closed. The sunlight has got in and warmed the car up but the heat could not escape, making it very hot inside- like a greenhouse. The greenhouse gases that human activities are producing are believed to be trapping the heat reaching the Earth, causing the temperatures all over the world to gradually warm up.
* Countries all over the world are experiencing more extreme weather such as floods, hurricanes, drought and heat waves. * The ice caps at the North and South Poles(as well as glaciers in mountain regions) are slowly but surely melting. * Sea levels are beginning to rise: as seawater warms up it expands, and as the ice sheets and glaciers melt they add to the water in the oceans. Low lying cities and even whole islands and countries are at risk of being slowly swamped by the rising sea levels. * Animals such as Polar bears and Penguins are losing their ice habitats other animals and plants are struggling to adopt quickly enough to the changes in their climate. * Farmland in places like Africa is becoming even drier and the crops are failing, causing serious famine in some countries. * Some diseases are spreading, such as malaria. This is carried by mosquitoes(in hot countries) and they are now found in new places where before it was too cold for them.

we are now experiencing change in rainfall pattern and change in season pattern as well. Summer is getting loner than it used to while spring and winter season have shortened. And there is now change in agriculture pattern as well. in our places we used to grow mustard plant nowdays the yield is so low that we have to abandoned it and plant another crop.

Agreed, Dharmendra. These Green house gases are cancer like. Looking for Abhilash's report on CFCs as well.
by the way ambassador Humaid has written a report on CFC on 05-Feb-2014. The link is given below:

Thanks , Dharmendra , for enlisting the adverse consequences of increasing greenhouse gases. These effects bring economic consequences badly for almost all the countries of the world. Ecosystems are being stressed. Urgent reduction of these are essential to save our environment. WE MUST REDUCE THE GREENHOUSE GASES WE RELEASE.

Nice article Dharmendra! :)
Additionally, i 'd like to mention the most dangerous are the CFCs. It is destroying the ozone layers at a fast pace. We need to put efforts to minimize its utility.
I am hoping to provide a report on CFCs very soon. Watch out!
Cheers!

Greenhouse gases are increasing dramatically and can't be stopped easily. Such a shame we are harming the world who is the greatest giver toward us. However, now, we are facing the consequences. Thanks for sharing :)
