It is very sad to see that the people are throwing the waste wherever they like. The picture shows that there is no proper waste management. Although the news is not good, your team have started something good, that is spoting those spot.
Now I hope that you will be doing something immediately in order to manage the waste. As said well begun is half done, you and your team has done well. Now it is time to recycle and manage the upcoming waste and aware the general public about the importance of managing the waste.
Thank you for sharing and best of luck for future endeavors.

Thank you so much for introducing us about environmental issues in Macedonia! I think most of users don't exactly know about Macedonia, including me also. So I am really happy to have an ambassador shows environmental issues in the region so vividly.

The solid waste problem seems serious there too. Are there campaigns or programs to mitigate the problem?

Thanks for sharing the extent of serious waste MIS-management -through these pics. You and all other residents and other stakeholders collectively need to do lot to control this situation. So many plastic bottles , clothes , glass bottles etc thrown like this. These could have been put to better use/upcycled. Lot of awareness needs to be spread among people there to give them some sense of how to handle waste.

Thanks for the vivid pics Roberta.
I can see many recyclable stuff like Glass, Plastic, clothes. It should not enter landfills at all in the first place.
People must me educated to segregate the waste & must be encouraged for recycling.
Also, some stuff is seen burning. This is another menace & a cause of pollution.
Thanks you for the report & kudos for your Tunza Eco Patrols.
