Organizing ECO Tunza patrols |

As an ambassador for Tunza Eco-Generation I started working with young people, mostly with the students in primary school and high school. Firstly, I asked for a permission from the government and talked with the major. After my conversation with him I am allowed to realize all my ideas with their support. They were really happy for me that I am chosen as an ambassador and about having this experience to work with a world known organization. The representative of education in municipality of Prilep, Mr Marjan Matrakoski agreed with me that he should support my activities and provide help for improving them among the schools here. In the period from 15th till 30th September I realized fourteen presentations in eight primary and secondary schools. The main goal was introducing students with Tunza Eco –Generation and present them about the environmental issues as climate change effects, carbon footprint and influence of toxic materials. My idea was to initiate environmental ECO TUNZA patrols in every school who will collaborate with me in term of different topics related with environmental issues in our country. During the presentations and the meetings with the students from eco patrols we came up with ideas for the following period. The first idea was increasing the awareness of citizens about wild landfills/ around our town and solid waste pollution in our city environment. We took pictures of solid waste hot spots in Prilep area. which were very upsetting in term of high pollution. This week we organized an art exhibition with pictures exposed in the center of Prilep. Through this art exhibition we send a message to citizens about one of the main problems that we are facing now and the need of activities which will help for solving it. Wow that's great really great Roberta. If you continue this way then you will really improve environmental awareness in your region in the days to come.
I really like your idea of making Eco patrols at different schools in order to work closely with you. That is brilliant idea Roberta.
You have engaged the youth and student and it will really yield good results.

Great work Roberta. What types of games did you and the students do? I need a few ideas that I also can adapt as I will be going to schools in the future. Children learn best through games.

You did more than great Roberta! I am so moved by your passionate environmental awareness work. Do you love children? It's unbelivable number to petrole 8 schools in just 2 weeks! It's amazing. Landfills & solid waste pollution is a common menace in many countries. You have taken up a potential conservation plan for Prilep area. It is really encouraging.
With the consent of local govt. I'm sure you'll achieve your objective. All the best.
If you may share the pics of Art exhibition, it'll be great as it'll motivate & encourage others in this regard.
