EARTH DAY 2012 - VOLUNTEER AT 'ONE DAY ON EARTH ' MOVIE SCREENING |

The movie ' ONE DAY ON EARTH' is a truly inspiring movie that all eco-warriors should watch . It has been screened at various venues all over the world and it was brought to Dubai by EWS-WWF of which I am an active and long standing member . I was chosen as a volunteer for the movie screening which was held at the Mall of the Emirates theatre . As a volunteer I had to interact with the guests who came for the screening , register them and encourage them to buy a turtle pack , the money for which would be used in the hawksbill turtle conservation project . The interest this generated was phenomenal and I am certain that this green initiative on Earth Day would go a long way in raising the eco-consciousness of Dubai residents. I adopted a turtle two years back and the money from these adoptions is used for geo-tagging these beautiful creatures . |

haha...I just posted my fav eco-movie list and decided to read my co-ambassadors posts when I came across this. Let me see if I can find the movie "one day on earth" to watch sometime.
