In this report, I would like to share with you few glimpses about my First Tunza Eco-generation Event.

DATE: 25.10.2014

VENUE: Al Rawabi Dairy Farm, Dubai

EVENT SCHEDULE:

11:30 – 12:00 - Farm tour and visit to milk factory

12:00-12:30 - Visit to juice factory and photo shoot

1:00-1:30 - Lunch

1:30-2:00 - Introduction of Tunza Eco-generation to students, distribution of tunza leaflets and goods

2:00-2:30 - Short seminar on environmental protection, distribution of Al Rawabi goody bags

I got an opportunity to organise a farm visit to Al Rawabi Dairy farm on 25.10.2014 just like one of the Tunza Eco-generation ambassadors from UAE.

It was a Saturday morning when I along with 20 other students and their parents set off to Al Rawabi farm. We all boarded a bus from there and saw the vast tracts of land that shelters more than 11,000 cows. This was followed by a visit to the milk and juice factory where we saw the manufacturing processes. After that there was a short session with elementary and secondary grade students where I introduced Tunza Eco-generation to them. They were all really excited to know about this website - its events and activities. Then there was a short seminar on environmental protection with a message DO OUR BIT TODAY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW followed by goody bags distribution.

The event was successful in spreading the message of environmental protection and conservation along with a fun – filled farm tour that was enjoyed by the students.

Oh, ambassadors' work is being amazing!

Industries are very important, so they have to be concerned about ecology because we need food security and quality of food.

    Well done Afra.
Spreading the awareness about Tunza Eco-Generation is our duty & you have carried out in an apt manner.
If each one of us carries out the duty to protect & conserve environment, the earth will be a better place to live.
We would love to see more pics of the event as this will motivate others also in carrying out similar environmental activities.
