Dear Friends, as you all are aware that I?m very active in recycling and always ready to share my experiences at this wonderful platform of Tunza Eco-Generation. My friends have been very generous in supporting my initiatives. I have explained to them the cause of recycling. At home we have Daily Newspaper, Plastic Milk Bottles, Cans of Juice & carbonated Drinks, Various Tetra packs, Used School Note Books, Unused Mobiles, Empty Print Cartridges etc. All this stuff is normally thrown in garbage. People do not have patience to keep & submit for recycling the same in the local recycling centers. I have an arrangement with them. I ask them to keep the recyclable stuff for a week & then I approach them one by one, collect the stuff & submit to the local recycling centers. I?m doing this for past three years. This helps to solve two purposes. One is that our landfills are saved from being stuffed. And second is that each & every item is recycled in the system. We use it, than reuse it & the cycle goes on. With the help of this article, I express my sincere thanks to all my Friends & Family to actively support me to keep our surroundings Cleaner & Greener. I?m sure that this will motivate others to carry out similar drives in their regions & share their experiences with us. Thanks for reading & awaiting your comments & responses. |

@Mary, Thanks for your comments. The material is handled by the various recycling companies in the UAE. I have never visited them. But your idea is good. Will plan that & subsequently share at this platform.

@ Bindu, Thanks for your wise suggestion. The people are responsible, that's the reason they keep it for me & do not throw it away.
I consider it as fun to recycle & my humble duty for mother earth. They are all extended family after all.

Thumbs Up Rohan for your tireless effort since three years in recycling not only of yours but also of others. But my suggestion is better you aware and awake those people to be responsible themselves. Anyways I appreciate your dedication to keep environment green and clean

Absolutely inspiring, Rohan. I just send materials for recycling from my home, I don't collect it from others. I believe what you're doing impacts our society in a large way. The fact that you shared the idea will certainly propel lazy people like me to be more active environment ambassadors. All the best, Rohan...
