What an awesome beginning to the Rio+20 summit . The YOUTH BLAST kicked off today bringing together youth from 112 countries . The opening ceremony , with its innovative energy sessions , interspersed with speeches from Major Groups , UNDESA and UN representative to Brazil were absolutely stunning .

Thereafter , the delegates broke into separate groups to attend various workshops and seesions during the day .

I delivered a presentation on sustainability as a part of Intergeneration Integration in. sustainable development. The day ended with participation in the Million Person Project.
